Eemah’s Hamantashen Recipe!
It’s easy and yummy!
Mix the following together:
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups flour
Roll into a ball, wrap in foil and place in refrigerator for an hour ( or longer if you’d like to do it in advance)
Roll out dough to about 1/8” thick
Cut into circles (use a cup or glass or cookie cutter)
Place ¼ tsp of filling (I use the solo stuff) in the center and pinch 3 corners
Place on cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes @350
ENJOY!
Love,
Eemah
Helene,
We've just moved to Houston and we're looking at Temples. The first one we went to was with Rabbi Steven Gross from La Jolla. As he and I tried to connect our pasts (he's a few years younger than I) your name came up. I'm not sure if you remember me. I was in the group with Ricky Goor, Todd Kobernick, Greg Silverman, Larry Weitzen, etc. Largely due to your influence, I'm a teacher, now working on becoming an administrator.
I would love to be added to your mailing list,
Ricky

Hi Eemah,
I wanted to let you know that my email address has changed to lisaburgner@hotmail.com. So as you can see my name has changed, which of course means I got married. Chris and I were married October 22 up in Seattle and it was a fantastic weekend, followed by an equally wonderful honeymoon on a European cruise. So if you could change my email address in your mail list, that would be great so that I continue to get your updates.
Appreciate it!
Hope all's well...

Can’t wait to see the pictures…the next generation…it doesn’t get any better.

Howdy!
MAZEL TOV on the newest grandbaby (as she types with fingers crossed)! Your family is gorgeous!
We had a GREAT Mexican cruise with 20 immediate family members over the holidays. It made Mom & Dad’s year since we celebrated their 60th anniversary, which isn’t actually until June, and Mom’s 84th birthday which is later this month. Not sure what we’ll do to top it for Dad’s 92nd birthday this August. As my Dad says, he has to keep making plans, whether they seem crazy or not (like his going on Safari for his 90th birthday where he was charged by an elephant), or else he feels like he’s just sitting on the shelf waiting to die. The crazy part, he still works a ton out of his home office and even flies around to inspect and negotiate on property investments, all despite his partial loss of site. I’m glad I come from that genetic pool!
Our kids are amazing. I’ve attached a photo. We’ve unfortunately had cancer problems with our “4-legged kids” (our 2 Labs). Bailey died right before this photo was taken and Aussie is about to undergo radiation.
How are the two of you…health, etc.?
Toodles.
